It's Summer!
I hope everyone is having a great summer! I've been away from the computer and lost in the pages of several great books. i just finished How to Steal a Dog by Barbara O'Connor. I liked the ending. I loved here other book Fame and Glory in Freedom, Georgia even more. I also read The Silver Donkey by Sonya Harnett. This book just feel good to hold and read... It has 4 stories within the story that a soldier shares with 3 kids who find and help him. Donkey's have quite interesting stories of honesty, friendship and loyalty.... One of my favorite thing to do over the summer is to ride my rode bike and listen to books... Warning, If you see me riding, I sometimes slow down at really good parts of a book I'm listening too. I just completed the trilogy of Bartimeous by Jonathan Stroud.
Well, What are you reading?
Happy Reading Everyone!

Our final book club for Boys 4/5 is coming...
We will meet on Thursday, May 24th @6:30pm

We are reading Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix
In a society that allows only two children per family, Luke is a third child, a “shadow child.” He’s illegal, strictly forbidden. So he stays hidden, alone most of the time and frightened all of time. Then one day he discovers another shadow child, Jen, living in one of the fancy new houses that the government built behind his family’s farm. Luke and Jen quickly become friends, but Jen is bold and daring and she wants more than companionship from Luke. She wants him to be a crusader, another third child willing to risk everything for freedom.
Come prepared to discuss this edgy scifi tale....
